About Me

IMG_20181020_152010.jpg

My name is Ian Broady I have worked with children and families for over 20 Years. I have worked in a range of establishment from after school clubs, family centres to children's centres. I was part of a local Sure Start Team and love working with families.

I live in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and love it.

Since 2011  I have been a Play Therapist working around Gloucestershire in schools and a therapy centre. I set up the Spiral Tree because I am passionate about helping families reconnecting with each other. This connection is through play therapy, family support or parent and child relationship workshops.

I qualified as a Certified Play Therapist in 2011 I completed my training through PTUK. I have regular Clinical Supervision with an experienced supervisor. I believe it is important you are able to fully reflect on your practice to grow and become a better therapist.

I am a Certified Clinical Supervisor working creatively with the unqualified and qualified therapist and School staff. If you would like to know more about supervision please click here

I have completed the Certified AutPlay® Training. This therapeutic approach is designed for children and families affected by autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, neuro developmental disorders, dysregulation issues, and other developmental disabilities
