About Me
My name is Ian Broady I have worked with children and families for over 20 Years. I live in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and love it.
I have been a Play Therapist for 10 years working around Gloucestershire in and out of schools. I set up the Spiral Tree because I am passionate about helping families reconnecting with each other. This connection is through play therapy, family support or parent and child relationship workshops.
I have regular Clinical Supervision with an experienced supervisor. I believe it is important you are able to fully reflect on your practice to grow and become a better therapist.
I am a Clinical Supervisor working creatively with the unqualified and qualified therapists and school staff.
Play Therapy
Play therapy is a form of counselling that uses toys, and creative mediums as the main form of communication, rather than asking questions.
I use a non-directive model this approach gives the child the control to go as far and as fast as they can handle within the safe therapeutic environment.
Creative Clinical Supervision
I am trained in creative supervision and aim incorporate creative mediums into the supervision sessions.
